Mary Sladek
Mary Sladek is a devoted pet groomer with 9 years of experience in dog grooming. Mary's #1 motto is "humanity over vanity". Mary is knowledgable about animal health issues, and her priority is comfort for your pet.
Before moving to Atlanta in 2001, Mary lived in Illinois where she studied Animal Science. Her experience with animals includes pet sitting, working at several pet stores, managing a boarding kennel, and volunteering at the Humane Society. Once in Atlanta, Mary focused on her love of dogs and took a position at a local grooming salon where she apprenticed and learned she had something special to offer the dog grooming world. Mary mastered all breeds of dog grooming as well as creative grooming to the owners preference.
Mary and her husband Scott share their home with two pugs, Phoebe and The General, their five cats, Mr. B, Stinky, Stitch, Captain and Darwin, two turtles, Myrtle and Franklin as well as a crawfish named Travis .
Meg Edwards
Meg Edwards is the other pet stylist here at The Fuzzy Dawg. Meg came to us in June of 2009. Mary and Meg have been friends for years and Mary knew she would be a perfect fit at The Fuzzy Dawg because of her love for animals, excellent customer service, and her excellent grooming skills. Meg has been in the grooming industry for over 5 years now.
She lives in Dunwoody with her husband, Brian, and two daughters, Ansley & Callie. Their family also includes their pointer-mix Phoebe, and their two cats, Lucy & Penguin. The Fuzzy Dawg is proud to have Meg as part of the team.
Emily Fenn
Emily Fenn is a groomer at The Fuzzy Dawg and has been with us since May 2010. She has been grooming since 2005 and has worked with Mary before. Prior to becoming a groomer, she was a head kennel tech and vet tech for a number of years. With her combination of experience, kindness and skill, she is a valuable member of our team.
Emily lives in Norcross with her husband, James and is expecting her first child, a baby boy, in September. They have a poodle named Pipes and an American eskimo named Meatloaf.
Cassy Childers
Cassy Childers is the bather and grooming assistant at The Fuzzy Dawg and has been with us since July 2009. With over seven years in customer service and administration experience she helps keep things running smoothly. She has been volunteering with rescue and abuse shelters rehabilitating dogs to find them new, loving homes for over ten years. She also has a degree is Esthetics (medical skin care) which gives her in-depth knowledge of all the products we use and which to help target specific skin conditions.
Cassy lives in Alpharetta with her boyfriend, Jeff and their lab/pitbull mix Molly. The Fuzzy Dawg is grateful to have her as a loyal part of our team.
Stephanie Strach
Stephanie Strach is one of ours groomer's here at The Fuzzy Dawg and has been with us since May 2010. She has over six years experience in the grooming industry and has been grooming since 2006. She was apprenticed and trained under the same program as Mary and Meg. With her genuine love and care for all animals and dedication to the quality of her work, we are lucky to have her.
Stephanie lives in Alpharetta with her dalmation Sprinkles and her four cats; Johnathan Winters, Bizzy, Charcoal, and Teep.
